But I think Zanetti's Play-Making and Leadershipness and experience can be much more useful than Barone.
And I rate Zanetti much better than Barone.
Zanetti doesn't have any playmaking abilities.

Zanetti's play-making abilities are eqaul to 0. Barone is better than Christiano in this aspect. Plus, his wage demands will be lower.

Keep zanetti, his shown to be a good asset for us, has done well in the friendlies and has shown his desire to play for us. He also looks like one of those experienced members who can teach the youngsters a thing or two. He seems to be keeping some of the spirit going so now would be the wrong time.

I don't think so. His Long Balls are great. A DM should have Deffensive abilities + Play-making abilities (Specially accurate Long Balls)
And he has both of them. If I were that bastard Mancini I would use Zanetti for that Yellow Chick, Cambiasso

Honestly, I think both Zanetti and Barone are not good enough. Tacchinardi is way better than them and loaning him to Villarreal again was a huge mistake. He loves Juve and he would have agreed to play for us even in Serie B. He is quite good in defence and his play-making abilities are better than Emerson's, Zanetti's, Barone's, and Blasi's together.

forget playmaking abilities, hopefully we will have enough of that next season considering we will only play with 1 holding midfielder. Zanetti is a good player, hes a ball winner and his distribution is good, barone is an average player who has never impressed me, Zanetti on the other hand has and i for one have faith in him

Zanetti is a player that you can watch for 75min without ever noticing that he is actually on the field. When I watch Inter games I usually wonder whether he is playing until he recieves a yellow card.

Very interesting to see Toro make some good signings. This is the first time I notice they're so serious about their surviving in A campaign. 'Tis a shame we're not going to be there to kick their asses. :(

Regarding the topic, I've always like C Zanetti. I think he makes his presence felt more than Barone.

That said, (and I know this has been brought up here nuuuuuumerous times)...the fact that Maresca was let go by Juve remains a mystery to me. :disagree:

Never knew that Toro had a dime to spend on a player!  .
Anyway Zanetti, Tach, Emerson are walking yellow card type players and Zanetti always struck as the clumsyest by far.
I never been his fan and never will be.
And player making is more than just hitting long ball forward. Otherwise, Beckham would be regarded as best ever. The main attributes for playmaker IMO is (1) being at a right position to receive the ball (2) accurate pass (3) improvise and (4) put that extra disguise to fool defenders and spind on the ball so that teammates can control the ball easily.
Bekcham obviously is terrible at (1) and (3) and so is Zanetti. If you want to see real playmaker on show - Juan Carlos Valeron in his prime is the man for you.
