Barcelona and Juventus are the two best clubs of all time with Milan in fifth place, according to the Iffhs.

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics based in Bonn calculates its own points system each year to analyse the ‘best’ teams on the planet, but only begins counting from 1991.

Despite recently stuttering in la Liga and Europe, Barcelona have the top spot with 670 points followed by Juventus on 584.

Calciopoli has not halted the Bianconeri’s impressive record, as they are ahead of Manchester United’s 579 points.

In December Milan became the most successful club side of all time with 18 international trophies thanks to the Club World Cup.

However, they only finish fifth in the Iffhs standings on 547 points, behind Real Madrid’s 570. Inter are in seventh position with 488 points.

Other Italian outfits included are Parma in 12th, Lazio in 15th and Roma in 18th position.

It's because the Iffhs collects the stats since 1991. It takes into account all the results in national leagues, wins and continental competitions since 1st of January, 1991.
