was boring to me. Not Italian nor Juventino, easily can be the worst Ballon d'Or of all time.

Seeing nominated three players from Serie A teams is a bright spot, still not a dead league completely.

Well which Italian would you include there? Maybe Barella.
As for the winner and previous winners - There is no doubt Vinicious deserved it and probably Uefa had a hand in it but The whole award became ridiculous when they give it to popularity rather than actual performance and achievements. It had been in the past as well such as Messi (IIRC) instead of Lewandowski.

P.S I `d argue Bellingham might have deserved it over Rodri as well.

They have a point there.
Its Vinicious, Bellingham, Rodri, Carvajal for me but anyway the award lost of its prestige once they went for popularity than actual game. There was a year Lewandowski was robbed blind (I think it was awarded to Messi).

Hope we can send a nominee for the next edition (not because I care but it would mean he probably played very well)

Also, can someone explain to me why the ad wizards at Ballon d'Or came up with the brilliantly original idea of the "Men's Club Team of the Year" crap in the first place?

We have players who are falling apart from exhaustion because they're in 17 different national and international tournaments all year. And the geniuses at the Ballon d'Or decided that there was a need for a trophy to honor something akin to a club World Cup winner with a trophy?

What next, a National Team of the Year award every World Cup year?

The crying being done over this by Vinicius and Real is embarrassing.

Lewandowski not winning was a much bigger injustice and he barely said a word.

No one gave Lewa a legitimate shot when he was up against Messi and Ronaldo.

Vini was everyone’s hot favourite until about 3 days ago, which is where the whining comes from.

Rodri’s a likeable guy and an incredible player but i cannot stomach that plastic club now winning a Ballon D’or as well. Would have preferred Vin.

Completely agree. Any idiot can see that Rodri is more essential to your team vs Vini. Really like Vini myself but he is just being a Lolzilian this time.

Take away Rodri from man city and their game balance is affected. Remove vini and you will still have goals coming from others.

Anybody with basic football knowledge will know Rodri is more than deserving of that award. In fact, he should have won it last year too.
