@Fred- Wesley You think Almiron and Tiago are better passers than Ballack? I am just curious where did you watch Almiron on a consistent basis because I would be surprised if there is a country outside Italy that showed Empoli on a regular basis.

Ballack had a very difficult season at Chelsea for many reasons, Chelsea do not play to his strenghts, Lampard always seems to get in the way of superior midfielders (Gerard eg)

But in huge tournaments like world cups 2002 and 2006, Ballack was 1 of the best players so how can you question his pedigree?

Normally when Chelsea loan out a player, they seem to pay a huge percentage of his wages.

Besides younger players would always learn training and playing with world class players week in week out and that cannot be bad

The likes of Aquilani and DDR, though fantastic talents in their own right would have learnt from players like Totti.

Almiron the great white hope has played averagely and badly in the 2 games I have seen him, sure he played well in friendlies but who did we play against? Sunderland, newcastle, hamburg
I dont have to see him week in week out to know he's a better passer than Ballack...I mean i understand when people say Ballack is a world class player even if i dont agree...but i dont know how you can say he's a fantastic passer..he's nowhere near that..an ok passer at best i would say.

In 2002,Ballack was one of the best players in the tournament..and i think from then on..ppl formed an opinion on him that he's world class..But other than that world cup..he's never done enough to warrant the "world class" tag in my book..he was never world class for Bayern in the CL,and he was average in euro 2004..in WC2006 he was good but not amazing..Lahm,Klose,Lehmann,Frings and Podolski all had a better tournament.

Actually i remember quite clearly that when he first came to Chelsea..he was being played in his favoured position as an attacking mid in a diamond midfield..Lampard didnt have as much freedom as he used to because of that..and i think it was Lampards form that went down due to Ballack being integrated to the team.

There's nothing funny about a player of his quality going to one of our main scudetto rivals.Seriously.
Good point. If he doesn't stay at Chelsea or come to Juve I'm almost certain he'll end up at Inter, and that wouldn't be good.

Get him at once. Our middlfield sucks.I am afraid of even thinking what Roma will do to us on 20 September concidering the irst half of the game against Cagliari.
He is man machine.Does not matter that he do not payed properly for Chelsea fucks. Also Cannavaro was not tat good ad Inter and won world best player and world champion with us.How can anyone compare him to Zanneti,Almiron and other [resent players. If this is only 1% truth he knows there is no way that he can get his salory from Chelsea.I will go for him immediatelly. What is Almiron ,Tiago and Zanneti younger. They are at least 29 yeras. We desperately need a caliber lke him

Seriously what are you jabbering about? You see Almiron once or twice and suddenly you know he is a bettr passerof the ball than Ballack?

which world cup were you watching when you say Podolski and Klose had a better world cup? Only frings came remotely close to him but he was their best player.

His injury in the world cup kinda helped Italy in that 2-0 defeat and even before that he was hobbling about against Argentina but still walloped an amazing penalty.

Never world class for Bayern in cl you say? Well Almiron has never been near 1 game in that tournament (side issue) . Ballack was Bayer leverkusen on their match to the final.

Most Germany players were off in 2004 so whats the point in bringing it up?

You don't see Ballack as a world class player, well thats up to you.

What diamond system do Chelsea play? Their game is to suffocate the game abd strifle the enjoyment of matches, all they do is try and stop opponents and then hoof the ball to Drogba or let Lampard go on his late runs and score

Ballack most of the time acted as a defensive midfielder going forward usually when they have a corner kick, the guy was lost in Mourinho's system.

He is good, he is very good otherwise Real madrid, Inter and manchester united would not have been interested in him

Ballsack on loan? sure but there is not way in hell we should/could pay his high wages. BUt the question is, if such a move is possible, then why did we buy Tiago/Almiron? if we get Ballsack then it would seem a waste of that money we spent.

If we had to loan a player from Chelsea I'd rather we go for Alex if he's available since we need a defender.

Carvalho and Terry will always be 1st choice. Ben Haim and Alex are back ups. I think Ben Haim has played though..Haven't watched Chelsea play this season yet.

Why can't we pay his wages? It would be a loan move so we wouldn't have to pay Chelsea anything in terms of a transfer fee, we'd just have to fork out his wages.

Why did we buy Tiago and Almiron? Isn't that obvious? We're being linked to Ballack on loan because Chelsea left him out of their CL squad. No one knew that Chelsea would turn their backs on Ballack like that and he's injured so of course we had to bring in centre mids other than him. It was also believed that he was on his way to Madrid before they pulled the plug on that deal.

Kinda off topic but which CB's are Chelsea's starters this season?
We'll have to wait and see when all of their defenders are fit.

Carvalho and Terry will always be 1st choice. Ben Haim and Alex are back ups. I think Ben Haim has played though..Haven't watched Chelsea play this season yet.
Terry was injured to start the season so they played Ben Haim and Carvalho (Alex wasn't there yet). Now Carvalho is injured so they're playing Terry and Alex. Terry will obviously be a starter, it'll be between Carvalho and Alex for the other spot.

Firstly if chelsea are agreeing to loan ballack out i imagine they prob wil pay half his wages and juve the other half which id say we could manage.

ballack has suffered at chelsea for a number of reasons but mainly because with his national team and previous clubs he was the main man and pivot of the team everything went through him and he was always involved.

once he regains fitness which should be around mid october he definatley would be a great acquisition for juve not just from a playing point of view but also from a marketing point of view.

having a player of ballacks quality would boost juves chances of finishing in the top 4 and with a bit of luck maybe winning the scudetto.

thus when juve enter next summers vital transfer campaign we can offer players CL football and also ballack would be juves first real class player to sign after calciopol, and if he was successful. juve would receive a lot of positive media and players would see juve for all their history not just the recent scandal. he would be the first real major signing that would send the message to all top class players that juve are back and big time players are interested in playing in turin once again.

i think we have to take the risk if he is available and sign him on loan and then see morratti s face as he scores in the derby d'italia after he admitted he wanted ballack at inter.

yes he has had a bad season last year but he is still top quality something juve dont have right now in the centre of the field
