If i was arrogant i would have told you to analyse that yourself but since I am not then I would explain to you that when Paramati, Zenoni, Amoruso were in our side we had a younger DP, Nedved and Trez, Thuram Davids, Ferrara, Buffon, Tacchinardi, Zambrotta and Lippi. Moggi was pulling the strings rightly or wringly behind the scenes.

Now what have we got, Dp and Nedved past their prime, an older and slower Trez, defence that is worrying and thats putting it midly, Ranieri thats never won a major, board that would not be out of place an any carry on movie

But everything is cool as long as Inter are not winning right?

everything is cool as we are winning and fake one going to crazy because we are leader of Serie A

I absolutely agree. He would definately be a great addition. People who say otherwise are not judging him on his football player capacities.

But Ballack leaving Chelsea for Juve is a totally impossible scenario. Why the hell would Chelsea loan out a 31 year old player?
they loaned a 31 year crespo to inter

Ballack is a good player altough I don`t know what he could add to our current squad...
he is not the best in terms of defending altough he does has a good organizing skills which is something we lack of.
but we need both defending and organizing if we should look for a midfielder

as for the market I`d rather see us go for a defender who could make our defense look like a top quality one and not a mid table like

Yeah well our board really tried hard to get a class defender. We got Andrade who can do the job, but we most likely need another one unless Criscito can adept to the first division level quickly, but I'm glad they didn't spend 20m on Milito. In our position, knowing that major signings that need to be done in the near future, I think it's best we patiently wait untill we can make some well-considered big signings. I think our board did a good job; the best that was possible.

A world class player to this present juventus side? No ? Because we are brimming with lots of world class midfielders? Yes it is a stupid idea to get someone that is great in the air, fantastic passing and shooting ability, all proven by the way. A player who would score you goals from midfield is exactly the player we do not need as we have the unknown quanties called Almiron, Tiago and Nocerino.

The fact that younger squad members can learn from his German mentality and experience should not matter a jot

Why because when it comes to genuine quality we are right up there with the Milans, Roma and Inter

After all which 1 of those teams can boast of the quality players of the calibre of Birindelli, Grygera, Zanetti, Legrottaglie, Boumsong, Zebina, Iaquinta, Salihamidic, Tiagoo and Almiron?

Nah Ballack is not needed as we have enough quality to walk serieA, no problem
Do you really think Ballack is world class??if so on what basis??i wouldnt call his passing fantastic..Tiago and Almiron are better passers.

And in terms of quality Juve and Roma are equal..give Tiago and Iaquinta a chance..your underrating them.

Ballacks owns Tiago and Almiron so bad it's not even funny. You seem to be judging him on his Chelsea form alone because when he's on he's simply world class. Nothing less. Tiago wasn't even the best midfielder at Lyon, far from actually.

@Turk Bianconero: you are naive and foolish if you think we have the same amount of quality in our side as Roma, Inter, Milan and even Fiorentina. You're even more naive and foolish if you think leading the league after two weeks means something, because it doesn't.

And to anyone else who doesn't believe Ballack would be a good acquisition for us, I guess you didn't see our centre midfield against Cagliari. Call it an off day, that's fine, but you can't deny that Ballack is on a higher level than Almiron, Tiago and whoever else we have.

I would love it if it happens but I won't believe any rumour until it's really confirmed regardless of the fact that I see the deal realistic.

My guess is that it's media BS. They saw that he wasn't put on the CL list by Chelsea and started some kind of rumor of him changing clubs and Juve got it's name pulled out from a hat.

Germany team manager Oliver Bierhoff has described Michael Ballack's omission from Chelsea's Champions League squad as "stunning". Source The Daily Mail

Whatever happens I suspect Ballack will be off but who is going to pay the wages. Only Real ?

I agree with stu and denco ballack could be very useful for us. His got a lot of qualities we certainly lack. I would happily accept him providing we pay half of his wages (at most). With the way noce has constantly been used as a winger it wont be long before his converted and zanetti find himself as a defender.. now whose complaining about spaces? :D Anyway atleast we will be prepared for the worst injury crisis.. er or was that worst suspension crisis

and yes ballack is still a world class player despite being a 'flop' at chelsea, lets not forget its only a season ago when manchester utd, milan and real were all after him, the latter of course still wanting him. I dont think anyone needs to be reminded what his capable of, my only concern is how he will be following his recovery from the surgery on his ankle and of course the wages...

This may sound stupid but to keep the squad spirit I think it would be a good gesture from the management/ranieri to ask players like almiron, tiago etc what they think about playing alongside him.. is it an honour, or is it a concern..

Anyway despite all this I dont think the move will happen.

Loaning Ballack from chelsea is the best solution for all parties. And certainly will be a great advantage for Juventus.

I wouldn't mind a player of his caliber on Juve... but I have my doubts about this. This would likely be a sign that Nedved is ready to retire and is to be relegated to being a supersub.

Ballack-Almiron/Tiago-Nocerino/Zanetti-Camoranesi

Very strong, and with Nedved capable of stepping in, gives the Tinkerman lots to do.

1)i never said Tiago or Almiron are better than Ballack..i said they were better passers..as many people were referring to Ballacks passing as "fantastic" when its far from that

2)I'm not judging Ballack on his Chelsea days..i always thought he was overrated ever since he joined Bayern..he's a good midfield player no doubt..but to call him world class??i think thats taking it too far.

3)i dont think Ballack is capable of playing as a DM in a 4-4-2..He isnt tactically disciplined enough..his positioning leaves a lot to be desired too.
