Bachelors - Work - Masters? (18 Viewers)

Id be completing my Bachelors by April hopefully.I might apply abroad for my masters,or for a job.So i just wanted general opinions on what might be the better option.Get some work experience and then do my masters,or do my masters right after my Bachelors,and start working in the end.Id also like to know which path people here picked.When i talk about working btw,im talking about full time jobs.Not part time jobs.

It depends on your majoring. I directly continued my high studies after completing the bachelor, then I worked.

After doing that, I found that studying a professional certificate is better than the master if you want to go to the work not in an academic position.

But as I said before, your majoring is a very main point in specifying your choices.

Ive received different answers to this question btw,like everything else.Getting a straight answer out of this world is impossible:.Anyway,there are people who've said that if you work after doing your Masters,you go into the industry with more knowledge,but with less experience.And people who look at it differently have said that gaining some experience before you do your masters is more beneficial.So basically its an opporunity cost betweene experience and knowledge.

PS.Dont major universities in Europe and the US prefer candidates with some sort of work experience over candidates with no work experience when it comes to MBA?

I would reccomend that you get at least 1 year experience, then go for your MBA or masters.

Currently I am halfway through my MBA program. I have around 5 years of practical experience which has allowed me to have better understanding during program.

I never heard of this. It maybe different from a university to another one. Personally, I completed my MBA without any experience year, but regualtions in the Middle East universities could be very different from the US & European universities.

I know some people who work in the HR area and I know that they dream of finishing the PHR/SPHR certificate which is a professional certificate specialized in HR, but what I know is that it can't be attended before getting some experience years in the HR area.

MBA adds very few things to a Business Administration graduate, in my opinion. So, my advice is to get in the work area as soon as possible to understand what the work environment is about and trying to find a comfortable job that may allow you to choose what is better for you in the future. i.e. if you don't like work, you can complete your MBA after the work hours. I don't know if that's possible for you or not. If you complete your MBA after getting some experience, you'll find that you're looking to the whole concepts studies in a new viewpoint that tries always to look for things that make your work more effective and efficient.

Hehe , I'm in 3rd year and might be facing similar problem later , and mathematically i'll finished my Uni in the 1 and Half year , i hope the smoothest way to graduate for me and you all my bro's
