A 1-1 draw from a tough fixture with Belarus was enough to send Alberigo Evani’s Azzurrini to the top of their Under-19 European Championship qualification group.
The two Bianconeri called up to the squad, Daniele Rugiani and Stefano Padovan, were once again named in the starting line-up, but the striker was unable to add to his tally following a decisive double against Albania on Friday night.
Italy lead the group with four points, Albania and Belgium lie second with three apiece, while Belarus prop up the standings on one point.
