After that horrific display against Norway, that's right powerhouse NORWAY, wasn't looking good for him. Though I don't know HTF you let him continue with tonight's match. Players are going to be motivated to play for guy who sounds like they wanted out? Wearing the ITALIA jersey better make them give it their all against this minnow.

LMAO at Spalletti on the sideline but I guess more involved with Euro football, anything and everything is possible with Italian football. Your telling me there is not an assistant coach available? Assistants more knowledgable with tennis maybe.

Italy should obviously do much better but you sound a bit clueless about Norway tbh, they have great attacking players, so if you let them get on top of you they will. They've scored 21 goals in their past 5 games now.

I also think these games being played just after the season's finished will always throw up the odd weird result and flat performancs because players are physically and often mentally not sharp, and some don't even bother turning up. I think this is the same for the ones that are in early September as well as players aren't yet up to full speed. But it's the same for every team.

This team looks like it could have 90% of the ball and still not create many chances, there is no cutting edge.

Moldova probably should have had a pen a little while ago as well. They rarely counter but when they do Italy look all over the place at the back.

they have the ball, they have the better team, they have more shots, they play closer to the opposition box. yet it's donnarumma screaming his lungs out that you need to know about current italy

Estonia currently holding Norway to a 0-0 draw. A good result for Italy if it holds. Lol shows how atrocious they are these days…

Also, this is the worst Italy team I’ve ever seen in terms of quality and esp in defence. Sixes and sevens.

Thanks just did some research and saw that OFFENSIVE prowess. Guess I just keep thinking old Norway never being much of a challenge. More about Italy being superior to lower level countries for so long but maybe more so Italy not being close to what they have been. Two WC non-participation says not in Tier 1 world football group for quite awhile. 3-0 though, sad!
