Spalletti did basically the opposite as the euros. Played a safe system that his players know, formed a main block, and makes almost no changes to the lineup to build chemistry.

Yesterday was absolutely dominant in the first half, more mixed in the second.

For sure and could use the word great. The way they passed the ball around was superb. Both teams had opportunities missed. Retegui not getting it over the GK arm, few players in point blank in front of BEL net and couldn't tap it in. BEL too a few and ITA lucky that goal post hit late didn't go in.

For only a 1-0 score, one of the more exciting matches I have seen this season!
