So Bernardeschi is already fit? Or is this the squad for Russia this summer?

looks like Dybala and Icardi will be left at home this summer. Imagine had they chose to play for Italy rather than Argentina. Imagine our attack wtih Dybala, Icardi and Balotelli

Parolo - Jorginho - Pellegrini gave me aids. Might be decent enough players in their own right but together against an athletic team, lol. To tell you how bad they were England's midfield was non-existent and they were still shit.

Parolo, if Italy don't have 5 or 6 better options going forward it is a crying shame. Verratti, Jorginho, Pellegrini, Gagliardini, Barella, Cristante, Bonaventura and hopefully Marchisio, then sack this guy off.

Immobile turns from Thierry Henry to Lenny Henry when he swaps the Lazio shirt for an Italy one.

Best Italy player tonight was MDS. Kept it simple, cool as ice, had a lot to deal with but mostly got it right. Bonucci and Rugani also decent.

What about it? That just summed up the pedestrian friendly pace Italy played at for 75 mins, and other than a yellow card obstruction from Rugani on Lingard (who made a great quick decision) it was going to be a great scoring chance for Vardy.

On the theme of not judging players on one incident, the Man Utd man was otherwise anonymous for the entire game, and Vardy wasn't far behind.
