i'm not against Motta - i like him as holding mid in a 433/4312, but please not in a 2-man midfield, and not next to monto. a box to box next to him would work wonders. monto - motta is just slow as $#@!.

Hopefully Conte has it in him to start Insigne-Zaza up top. Could really have some success with that team.

Agree. 343 with Candreva on the right and Marchisio-Verratti in the middle is the solution to get the best out of this team offensively without disrupting its defensive strength. Hope Conte wont settle for the "safer" solution and go 3-5-2 instead

4-4-2 when your weakest players are your strikers is a waste imo. Aside from the forwards I see this Italy as a tough to beat and underrated team tbh.

Sure, they have no Totti or Del Piero. But they have a very tenacious and talented midfield. Defensively they look very solid too and to top it off they have the best goalkeeper in the world.

If they survive the first round, which they should, they'll go far.

We got Candreva, Gio,Bernadeshi, Eder, Pelle,Zaza,El Sha and Insigne. Which would be the preferred 3 man to start up front? I think only Candreva has a confirmed spot upfront. Giovinco would be best to start from the bench. So its between Pelle and Zaza as the CF, with either El Sha or Insigne the other side.
