Italy lost to Russia 3-0 last friendly game before Euro 2012 and made the final, they are a dumb fuck team when it comes to friendlies. And besides, it's a nothing line up because of injuries and testing out players.

The defenders today have been laughable, didn't expect to see a Conte side just watching at the back, not even if Mario and Luigi were in defence.

Yeah really the result is like 1% importance compared to that potential injury to Bonucci, both for Juve and Italy, more so the former. We can't just magic another defender from the pool.

Italy do lack depth compared to a few other top nations though, that's what happens when 70% of domestic players are foreign (and many mediocre). But they can take a good 23 if most of them are fit.
