Croatia is going to be the toughest opponent, so we won't learn much.

They just packed midfield and wouldn't really attack I think they were hoping for a set piece or lucky break but King was far too isolated.

Zaza looked very sharp, lots of classy touches, he impresses me more every game.

Watching all those misplaced passes was horrific. And those crosses (other than the Pasqual assist)... Zaza was good, Florenzi should have been subbed for Verratti at the start of the second half. Against stronger opposition this would have been a clear loss, I'm convinced of this.

Its a good result considering we have not beat Norway away for some time and the performance was good. The team can only get better when Rossi, Barzagli,Chiellini, Marchisio, Pirlo,Montolivio and Balo returns. Add Jorginho and Veratti we have a good midfield with the right mix of youth and experience.

Some from the U21 that could still make an upgrade like Sturaro and Berrardi, and Gabbidiani still an unknown quality at this stage.
