Motta shouldn't react like that, that's the shit that puts you out of a tournament, even if I do know why he did it for such a poor tackle in a friendly.

Not sure about that Germany kit, looks a bit like the 1994 one, and I can't stand that era from adidas.

In the game I think the teams had a half each, Germany had the better chances however.

The way Kroos fouled him was not nice either. But yes - he should not react like this.

Thiago Motta is a great CM, not sure why people are surprised about Prandelli picking him. He can play just about anywhere in midfield and manage to play well.

He even won two CL titles without playing in any CL Final :delpiero:

Motta is a cunt and a disgusting over-rated piece of shit. I don't want to see the likes of him, that sulking pussy psychopath Montolivo, heavy flow Aquapussy, or that turd nugget Osvaldo playing for Italy.

Buffon, Chiellini, Barzagli, Bonucci, Pirlo, Marchisio, De Rossi, Florenzi, Insigne, Balotelli, Rossi, and Totti (if he continues his form prior to his latest injury, and decides to come out of International retirement) should all be present. I'd also add Criscito and De Sciglio (if he regains form after he comes back from injury) to the mix.

So you're saying that Italy should just take 13 players to WC and neglect Aquilani and co?

Apart from Osvaldo, I couldn't come up with a legit reason to discard those players from Italy's selection for Brazil.

Obviously not. I am saying those 13 are pretty much a guarantee of quality, and a lock to be called up. Prandelli should keep an open mind about his other selections though. Osvaldo is an arrogant retard. Add Ranocchia and Astori to the list of players that should be nowhere near an Azzurri jersey.

Aquilani should be neglected because he sucks, and Montolivo is a very average midfielder in my book. He lacks guts, courage, and leadership.

I agree a lot of those players are average or poor, but can you come up with suitable replacements for every single one of them? Throwing in a bunch of guys who have little to no international experience for the WC can be just as harmful as keeping those players in the squad.

I definitely agree about Osvaldo though, his performance against Germany kind of sums him up for me. At this point I'd prefer Gilardino over him.

Gilardino :scared:

It is too late for Prandelli to do anything now. He should've started integrating promising players into the squad post Euro 2012; no point doing it with the World Cup just around the corner. Italy lack quality and depth in certain key areas, but there are a lot of average national teams out there, so they can still reach the Semis with the squad at their disposal.
