Totally true. The moment aqui and monto comes on, we suddenly lack physical presence and movements in midfield. And they suck at keeping balls too!

Prandelli has to grow some balls and not ever play Aquilani, Gilardino and Montoshito again.

Well if the Under 21s had not happened at the same time chances are we wouldn't have seen Gilardino and Aquilani on the squad at all. Insigne and Verratti would have made the roster. Gilardino won't be on the World Cup roster. Too many young players will be looking to get their feet wet next season. I also don't see DiNatale making the squad despite his desire to play.

I am sick of Prandelli trying to make Italy play positive and attacking football. I still believe that Italy has the uncanny ability to win games playing tactical and neutralizing sides. That is Italy's strength.

No way. Prandelli's style has made Italy interesting again. Final two in EURO 2012, final four in Confed Cup after terrible showings in the 2010 WC and 2009 Confed Cup. This new style with the infusion of youth has been fun to watch and they will win one of these tournaments in the next 4-6 years. You watch.
