At least we now have players who can actually play as supporting strikers. What was Prandelli thinking putting Aquilani in that position. He played the whole season as a CM and it is obvious he does not have the qualities to play in an attacking role. The substitution only confirms Prandelli's failure and he should take full responsibly. Besides that, this midfield really lacks attacking support, all three of them are dropping deep to get the ball in their feet and none is able to make supportive runs forward.

Really sums up the intelligence of your average footballer. Gets a tattoo and then wears a long sleeve because he doesn't want to show it.
does anyone know what it's a tattoo of?

yet has his value, and still scored. he should get his chance, with that massive talent he got
meh, having seasonal good form doesn't mean anything. i hate giaccherini when he plays for us but he seems to be a whole different beast for italy, always involved, creating chances, and bugging the opposition's defense.

btw was it barza who fucked up on the first goal? and chiello on the second? I love it!

Giaccherini plays a different role for Italy, you should have noticed that.

De Sciglio fucked up for the first one.

Martin Keown called Giaccherini, Giaccherooney in commentary too

seriously the english commentary and their inability to actually pronounce an Italian player's name correctly is astonishing! surprisingly i've yet to hear the infamous 'Purlo'
English pundits are the worse ones.
