I'm not the hypocrite here, though. You lot are. No matter where a person is born, no matter their last name, no matter their skin color, as long as they have citizenship they are OK with me. We don't discriminate.

So what's the deal? Are you saying you shouldn't award citizenship to people based on names and skin color?
OK thanks Barack, you aren't even close to my opinion. But I'll humour you again, even if I have a sense of déjà-vu.

Three categories:

- Those who have an Italian passport through birth or what is called jus sanguinis (parentage)
No matter where a person is born, no matter their last name, no matter their skin color
qualify as an Italian citizen and can claim a passport and play for any national team.

- Those who have no Italian parentage but are in the system at an early age, qualify through residence.

- Those who have no Italian parentage, are mid-late 20's and want a crack at international football, qualify through residence.

The last category is something I don't agree with in principle, and it is nothing to do with
No matter where a person is born, no matter their last name, no matter their skin color
, it is with being used as a second choice. My personal preference doesn't really come into it though, it's just the way football is and will continue to be more like.

But it's been said enough times and I know how bitter you are about the whole Rossi situation, this is probably the 4th or 5th time this nonsense comes up and will be every time Italy calls up a non-Italian. Just Italy though, for some reason. Probably because of the hypocrisy of 'us lot'. Later.

See, now you're judging people again. You don't believe Motta when he claims he feels Italian? You just assume that everyone who comes to Italy and wants citizenship is only trying to leech off of society? Because that's what it seems like, no offense.

There were some, including Stefano Fiore, who were angry that Camo was given a role in 2006 because he is Oriundo. Some here agreed, claiming that since he wasn't born in Italy, he shouldn't be considered Italian. Then after a while, or should I say after a Cup, the same select few started clinging to the grandparents argument. Alright, fine. Now he's Italian.

This is where the argument stems from. There is a LOT of hypocrisy when it comes to this issue, and I think it should be exposed. If you're going to let an Argentine with no connection to Italy besides having Italian grandparents (for which he may or may not even have known) play for Italy, then someone who makes a living there, pays taxes as a resident, et cetera should be allowed to as well without being judged.

At least in my opinion. If other nations want to discriminate then it's up to them.

It's because the Azzurri is by far the most discussed team here. Croatia was mentioned earlier, too. All of this should be discussed.

Just looking at the age of the Italy players versus England today: 20, 20, 19, 20, 18, 19, 19, 19, 19, 20, 20 (18, 21, 20, 19, 19) Ave: 19.4

England: 22, 22, 20, 19, 21, 22, 21, 20, 17, 22, 20 (22, 21, 17, 21, 21) Ave: 20.5

It showed at times but they competed well. England were missing 11 'injured' players but are preparing for the U21EC.

Dude the best bet for you would be to try subside sports, they can send lettering to you or you can send them your shirts and they can do it for you, not sure if it apples to you guys in the us though.

Checked them out they said they won't take jerseys in their u.s branch but buying lettering then gettin it done at some store here should be cheap

Gotta figure out what number he'll get. Eventually he'll be a 10 or 7 :eyebrows: . I always wanted a tat but am to black? :lol2:
You know what would be great, if you got a tattoo of Giovinco's face on your face :D
Tattoos looks cool on black people I think, For example lil waynes face tats look much cooler on him than some white guy, even if that isn't saying much.

And I'd just go for his debut shirt number, ie what it will be tomorrow.
When he does get a certain number like 10, the new shirt will be out anyway.

:sergio: I'd rather get my ear chipped off, balls squizzed with a nut cracker and shot in the knee cap before I ever get a tat on my face
