But that's where Chiesa is
Zaniolo isn't as flexible as Chiesa. The latter is more effective on the left even if he's slightly naturally better on the right, whereas Zaniolo as far as I'm aware is only used to playing as CAM or RW. Plus I think we'll be seeing more of Chiesa on the left this year for juve due to the lack of options on that side of the field.

Meh i would still play Zaniolo as ST due to lack of quality alternatives

Disappointing performance. Too focused on the record? Too early in the season and not warmed up? Just an off day? Either way, at least it wasn't a loss. I expect a win against Lithuania next.

Mancini only has himself to blame. First game Florenzi over Di Lorenzo and Calabria costs them a goal.

Tonight if Chiesa had played from the start he scores that Berardi chance and they never look back.

He has the credit now to experiment and develop the new generation of Italy.

Calabria, Calafiori, Lovato, Bastoni, Vignato, Zaniolo, Kean must all get more chances and be trusted over proven provincial players like Emerson, Acerbi, Florenzi, Insigne, Immobile, Berardi etc.

We have the record. Positive night, Italy always lacks something during this period, for Chiellini it was his first game of the season for example. The attack costed us, and Jorginho had a very bad penalty. Otherwise it would be a easy win without to many big problems.

Locatelli did very nice, as did Chiellini and Bonucci, although Leo’s passing was a bit off. Chiesa not very involved in the game but had a beautiful dribble. I was happy that he got rested a bit, don’t want him returning half dead.
