Pellè actually isn't bad at all TBH - like a Luca Toni lite. Eder seems to do well against fodder teams in Europe.

Italy have more options than we all think, it's just that they are never fit and the coach doesn't play them to their strengths.

Pelle is decent, definitely better than the likes of Immobile.

With Insigne, Berardi, and Rossi fit, the front line won't be that bad.

Rossi seems fit right now, if he can stay fit for any prolonged period of time, he'll be the best option up front.

It's also going to be interesting following Bernardeschi's development. He has looked good so far for Fiorentina the times I watched him this season. Promising player.

So who does Conte takes as his 5 (or 6) forwards to the Euros, if everyone is fit by the end of the season.

I think the goalkeepers, defenders and midfielders pick themselves. Has quite a few options to sift through in terms of wide players and strikers tho.

Balotelli as a lone striker is meh. Eder or Pelle is better.
Berardi isnt a pure winger, he'll go wide when he has to, but has a tendency to support the center when its needed

We need to be honest here

That goalkeeper, defence and midfield are as solid and talented as any. What nation in europe has a clearly stronger midfield and defence ?

Up front ?

El sharaawy, Insigne, Berardi, Candreva and Rossi as wingers or support strikers

Balotelli, Eder, Pelle as central forwards ?

Plenty of options for any type of formation.

Lets be honest, they can form various lethal frontlines

So who does Conte takes as his 5 (or 6) forwards to the Euros, if everyone is fit by the end of the season.
Goalkeepers: (3) Buffon, Sirigu, Perin
Defenders: (7) Bonucci, Chiellini, Barzagli, Astori, De Sciglio, Darmian, Florenzi
Midfielders: (6) Marchisio, De Rossi, Pirlo, Verratti, Soriano, Bertolacci
Attackers: (7) Pellè, Rossi, Insigne, Éder, Berardi, Zaza, Candreva

There are actually a lot of attacking options to choose from, I omitted Balotelli, El Shaarawy, Gabbiadini, Giovinco, Quagliarella, Vázquez, Saponara, plus really outside options like Okaka, Cerci, Destro, Immobile, Matri, Sansone, Paloschi.

At last Conte played his 4-2-4 who knows since when.
It looks promising cause the opponents are not really accustomed to play against such system.
Having Insigne instead of El Shaarawy, Berardi to challenge for a spot with Eder and Candreva and Marchisio to play next to Verratti (but tbh Parolo is a great and complete mid).
Well, this team can do it. Germany, Spain and France are not so much better/ Don't even talk about the others.
In Conte we trust.

Taking away the 3 GK position from the team of 23 for the Euro's I can think of only these names are confirmed so far.

Defense : De Sciglio, Darmian, Chielini, Bonucci and Barzagli

Midfield : Veratti ,De Rossi , Marchisio, Candreva

Attack : Pelle

Though I hate De Sciglio, I find there is no better option for a LB and secondly he is versatile whereby he can cover as RB in case of emergency as well, thus freeing some space for other position. On Florenzi, he has interesting attacking attributes but defensively he is horrible , he shouldn't be allowed to be in the defense. He should be a candidate for a spot in midfield.

Lastly, I hope the defense is focus, we have big names in the defense but as we witness in a few major tournaments, our defense has been sleeping at crucial times, a lapse of focus which I do hope it doesn't happen again especially with someone like Conte who keeps players up on their toes all the time.

Any other names for outfield that you guys think should be included as decided already apart from the 10 i mentioned?

That's almost exactly what I think he's gonna go with. Italy has plenty of options on wide attacking areas and heaps of strikers, none really world class or close to it, but dependable enough. He'll keep faith in those that helped us qualify.

IMO it's the 4th best European team at the moment.

Barring injury, he's definitely taking Pirlo in midfield. You can also bet that he'll take two out of the three of Bertolacci, Parolo and Soriano. So probably the midfield will be: Verratti, Marchisio, De Rossi, Pirlo, Soriano, Bertolacci/Parolo.

Upfront, in the wide areas guys like Candreva, Insigne and Berardi will all go. El Sharaawy has a good chance to if he stays injury free.

I still not convinced he will bring Insigne and Berardi with him. Conte haven't really seem them playing, and on El Sha, he no longer is the same player on his debut season with Milan. And don't forget Conte got a special spot for Montolivio, so its not pretty straigh forward with the rest of the choices. And bring Pirlo and Giovinco, currently playing in MLS , Conte will take a huge risk on that as we know the media are already harping on it and if the tournament goes wrong they gonna shred him with those two choices.
