I think they can still be a big force in the competition, just losing Rossi makes them a little less potent. Let's see how they line up for the next friendly.

Prandelli has officially lost it. $#@!ing clown with no clue, that he is. Leaving Romulo home, one of the best fullbacks in the league, to keep that $#@!ing Aquilani (?) that has even physical problems. 7CMs, including $#@!ing Parolo, jesus christ. Then Rossi home for Insigne, that's uncommentable... Given that you're obviously too dumb to understand how Rossi is important and recovered from the injury one month ago scoring and assisting in great style for Fiorentina, you just had to take Rossi with you for the group spirit, everybody supported him, even Lippi came to Coverciano to support him as he said, and still that temple-bald $#@! turns a deaf ear. Fortunately I don't care so much about Italy's NT, otherwise I'd be mad as $#@!. I know some Azzurri fans that are actually furious.
IM out of words because of his decition to left pepito out of the squad. After so much..the guy was apt to go and play... and the fuker left him.

A clown with no heart. I hope he gets sacked soon. And i dont wanna see his face near Juventus

He gave Rossi false hope. Rossi was by far the best forward that game. Only if he is injured or something... I dont know... All I can say I am going to miss Rossi. Lets see what that coward says tomorrow.

Thank you!

Andy must be laughing so much :D
 It is simply amazing. I hope he never gets to fulfill his dream of playing in the World Cup for Italy. Hopefully he realizes that being a traitor doesn't always pay.

Suck it long, suck it hard, Rosstard.

But good luck to Italy. Suddenly they are a little more likable now with that development, sort of like if the Nazis had axed Eichmann or Mengele in 1939.

How do you feel about Johannsson playing for the US? Surely you can't stand the guy, right? :)

Verratti in front of Pirlo :tuttosport:

Buffon
Darmian-Barzagli-Chiellini-De Sciglio
De Rossi-Pirlo-Marchisio
Verratti
Cassano-Balotelli

Not bad. I hope Verratti starts, he's gonna shut the haters @Bianconero81

With Balotelli heavily out of form and Rossi coming back from another major injury, it's hard to see where Italy's goals will come from.

They better be hoping for as many free kicks around the box as possible. I really think Gio would have also been a useful addition to this squad for the games where something different is required from the 60th minute onwards.

Rossi being left out is a big surprise, Prandelli must have felt that his fitness was not up to par. I don't know why he took both Parolo AND Aquilani. Seems a bit of overkill for me.
Oh he was left out? That's very surprising as he's still a great player.

I was shocked when I saw that Rossi has been dropped. But it has to be some sort of physical issue. Cassano is still a dangerous forward and I believe he'll do well this tournament. Cassano looked good when he came on against Ireland. I just hope Balotelli shows up.

Buffon
Darmian Barzagli Chiellini De Sciglio
De Rossi Pirlo Marchisio
Verratti
Balotelli Cassano

Buffon
Darmian Barzagli Chiellini De Sciglio
De Rossi Pirlo Marchisio
Candreva Balotelli Insigne

Maybe even Cerci on the right for the latter formation but it seems that he's being preferred in a more central role lately. Also I don't think Cassano has it in him to play on the left wing, and that's Insigne's native role.

I'm excited, I think the team can still do well.
