The Azzurri are becoming more and more like Qatar. Who knows, if they get 3-4 more non-Italians they might actually do well at the 2012 euro. Very soon their football NT will be like their futsal NT where 90% of the players were Brazilian.

LOL I was gonna say the same thing, it's a bit rich for a Croatian fan to be paying out on other nations using foreign players in their NT. The Croats every year try to steal half of our (Australias) players

Isn't it kind of different in cases like Rakitic? Who has Croatian parents, the only significance is that they moved to Switzerland to escape the war. Compared to Motta who must only qualify through some sort of distant heritage.
For tomorrow evening’s clash against Germany in Dortmund, Italy have allocated their shirt numbers. Four out of five Bianconeri have kept the same numbers that they wear for the club: Buffon 1, Chiellini 3, Aquilani 14 and Bonucci 19. Only Alessandro Matri will have a different number: 9 instead of 32.

But that's not what I was talking about because we don't know how do these people feel and the nationality debate was discussed a lot of times here already. The main difference is that Rakitic or Simunic decided to play for Croatia after refusing to play for the countries where they were born. Amauri and Thiago Motta play for Italy ONLY because they couldn't make it in the Brazilian NT.
Even Eduardo is a different case because he's in Croatia since he was 16 and played for our national teams since he was 19. Camo was 27 when he started playing for Italy, Amauri was 29-30, Motta is 28.

4-3-1-2 with Italy's fullbacks? Think there is a better systems for us.
The Azzuri seriously lack wingers, it's unexplainable how you can't have any Italian wingers in Serie A. Sculli and Pepe are the only one's who come to mind but they aren't really wc.

Thinking about it, it's a decades old problem. I remember an excellent Roberto Donadoni killing it on the wing, but after him there is almost nothing produced by Italian football school.
Camo was the only great winger in the post-Donadoni era and he was a product of another football school. Guys like Di Livio and Zambro were best as full backs, not wingers. The rest don't even deserve a mention.
