Yeah, not with Trap there. He always gives Italy trouble. Ireland have been collapsing because they are conceding early goals in halves all the time, they are killing themselves. If Italy don't score early and keep wasting chances then it becomes a tight game and then Italy's natural complacency becomes an issue.

Although I can't see Croatia scoring two goals against Spain, so there is still hope.

Prandelli hasn't got a true goal scorer in his squad who can finish some of the chances they had. That's his biggest mistake. Di Natale is the only close to that.
Wot? When's the last time where Italy played in a Euro or WC and didn't have a leading scorer with only one goal? :shifty:

I'm not getting you wrong. Just trying to understand how your indifference towards a player you don't really like, almost sounds like hate. What has he ever done to you for you to believe, he isn't good enough to be at The Euros? The guy is easily in the top 6-7 strikers Italy has at the moment. Give him this season at Juve, and I'm sure you'll change your mind. But promise to be objective and open to changing your opinion. :D

I think they should go with

Giovinco - Di Natale - Cassano
as the Irish are big and strong enough to deal with a a un-interested Balotelli but tricky more skillful players like Gio and Cassano willl cause us a lot of problems.

If italy play that formation they will win by something like 2-0. If they dont i see the score being something like 1-1 or 0-0. Also for Italy's sake they should not play Montolivo and play Chiellini at LB with Barzaglie replaceing Giach and playing in the centre.
