I'm not sure if De Rossi will cut it against top strikers. He might improve over the group stage but he is still a little lacking in positioning and he dives into tackles too much as a result of being a natural CM.

What about diamond CMs 3-6-1 with Cassano up top? Barza back to CB and De Rossi DM, Motta and Pirlo CMs and Marchisio AM
