I dont get how Italy's defence was good, in particular Bonucci? If it hasnt beenTorres who were in those clear chances Italy would easly lose.Bonucci is bonehead.

You could say the same for Spain, as they missed Puyol a lot. But really I'd have to agree, I've seen better defensive performances. They just about did enough as a back '6', but there were some strange decisions and ways of protecting the goal. I'd like to see De Rossi back in midfield for Motta. Motta is more offensive and mobile (just), but Barzagli brings calm.

Both of Torres chances were a result of De Rossi coming out rashly.
Buffon was also badly positioned for the second 'lob' chance, he got carried away after the first one, but really Torres still had two defenders to beat. Lucky.

Stick with 3-5-2 and play Balza, but Giach wasnt bad,is just that,he is more of an attacker.. Bonucci was not that good, lucky he had Chiellini and De rossi playing really good.. Balo and Marchi should have scored those chances they got! I was seriously rooting Marchi to score the winner today!

what does that mean he was also an instant waste, could hit the broad side of a barn
Doesn't matter. Sooner or later he'll score. Think about it. You can only score when you create. Think real hard. I know you can.

create what? his confidence is shite and it shows, he came in and ran hard against an already tired italian defense. A few of his chances arose from defensive lapses not his offensive prowess. I think maybe you should look at things objectively

Torres is on the bench: Spain struggle to create two chances.

Torres is on the pitch: Spain have at least three good chances.

That is objective.

Once again torres comes on when defense is tired, most of torres chances are because of defensive lapses not his skill
I don't care. When Torres is on, there are chances. That should tell you enough.

You're the one who can't be objective, because you can't acknowledge this fact.

I think it's a bit of both to be honest. Now shake cocks and grab a beer.
