Thankgod it came off, but the keeper wouldnt have thought he could do this at the time, so i guess its a good idea.

yeah well just because Buffon was injured. Gigi is still number one and where is toldo now? Mopping the floor in the San Siro vestiares

Buffon is the greatest keeper in the world, but he didn't shine yet for the NT in the competitions. Toldo was MVP of Euro 2000, even if he was the sub. I hope Buffon makes an amazing WC 2006 (together with Del Piero of course ).
