    Free kick by Dp hit the wall came back to Tomassi who hit it well and goal keeper madea good save

    On a footnote the ref is too fussy

    Half time Italy is leading is probably the only positive i can say from this game

    The whole system is strange and for me personally a change in management and personnel is the only way fwd for Italy

    Players like Panucci, Gatusso, Dibiagio should be dropped completely and midfielders with guile and skill should be brought into the fold

    Great shot by Inzaghi but wide, the onlt time he and Vieri have combined in the game

    At this point its typical Italy play sit backl let the team attack and hit on the break, it has never made for pretty viewing and Azer are quite poor so its unnecessary

    well good run by Gatusso (if i didn't see it i won't have believed it) cleared for a corner kick , god reverse ball by Pirlo to montella who could not cross the ball

    Its now another corner kick the ball finally came to Montella but he was off side
