This is what I don't get. From what I've seen from Lemina, he's easily as good as Witsel if not better. I just don't understand why we'd go for him at all.

I'll admit that I haven't watched much of Zenith, but I have seen all his games for Belgium (obviously). And I watched most of his games for Standard and Benfica too. Even if he's unlucky in the sense that he's always played out of position for Belgium (and these are the games most people on this forum get to see him play), I have big doubts about him. He's a decent player, but he's slow as fuck and not very imposing imo.
