Last year people were skeptical about Khedira because he isn't a fancy player and i think Witsel will turn out to be as much of a surprise as Khedira (relative to the expectations). Allegri already wanted Witsel at Milan btw (if you can believe the reports from back then).

Finally playing in a big league will help Witsel to become the player he was expected to become at Benfica.

Not the exciting player with flair I was hoping for, but he is probably the best option for or current situation. Our midfield is lacking the grinta Vidal provided, he should fill that roll well. And with this price, you really can't complain.
