I discovered this game earlier today, wanted to know if you guys have played it or not. The trailer and the demo look absolutely wicked. If you haven't already seen it, watch these videos:

Been waiting for it for quite sometime to come out on the Xbox, along with Mass Effect.

This game has got the most idiotic camera ever. It's just fucking stupid, I can't get the hang of it no matter how hard I try. Playing on PC with gamepad. Fuck, fuck, fuck!

I have that same gamepad and the camera is extremelly weird. It keeps rotating by itself, making it impossible to move around. The left axis is for moving, the right is for camera control, right? Is it normal for the camera to rotate without me touching the right axis? Perhaps my gamepad is screwed up..

My little brother bought this game for PS3 and I had the chance to play it over winter break.

The concept of the game is great and the graphics are sick, but it's just so damn repetitive. I got sick of it after like the 4th assassination.

It cant be drivers issues, because windows include the drivers for them, these pads are 1000% compatible, thats why i choose them!
I think, you need to recalibrate your gamepad, probably your right stick is jammed in a fixed position and causes this problem...

It WAS the drivers. I uninstalled the drivers that came with the CD, then installed the ones downloaded from the net. It worked like a charm.

The pad is supported by Windows and don't require further drivers, that is true, but if you want further support for the pad, like Logitech profiler, you need to install the manufacturer's drivers.

Thats true, the gameplay can be repetitive.
Actually the secondary missions and the climbing.
Climbing can be challenging but since the buildings differ considerable, it cant be that boring.
But some other secondary missions can be very challenging and the slightest mistake may ruin your efforts. This causes frustrations, esp for the novice players and it can be the reason to quit the game.
Luckily i only tried the pc version, which is the only with a great variation of secondary mission, so you wont have to finish the ones that you despise avoiding them is an option, to advance further on without frustration.
Later on you get new gadgets, you try new techniques and there is always smth interesting/different to do.
By the time you reach the last levels, this routine wont be a challenge anymore and the will to see the end will make you an unstoppable killing machine,
but the ends lets a lot to be desired...

This had a great concept and great ideas. It's worth checking out, but I think there is alot to be desired. Though the climbing aspects and rooftop chases had me exicted about what they would do in the next prince of Persia game (the guys who did the climbing aspects of this game are the same guys who did Prince of Persia climbing aspects)

what I didn't like was the fact that in the later levels they force you to fight through ARMIES of SOLDIERS. Also the game couldn't decide whether it wanted to be a stealth game or an action game. It had aspects of both they really weren't polished out, like say a stealth action game such as Metal Gear. And since the combat is kind of a slow responsive and it's only assigned to one button, I was banging on my mouse button on hours at end.

Kudos for them on the superb art, animation, Graphics and great setting. The holy buildings were a great joy to behold (and climb). This was a very ambitious game and it was natural they were going to have some problems with it. We will see how they move on from this game.

    I give this game a 7.5/10

If you re undecided on which game version to get, here is my advice. If you have a good PC that gun run the game, then get the PC version as it has bonus side missions.

next two games I'm anticipating? Mass effect ( on PC this month) and GTA IV ( hopefully on PC by the end of this year)
