IMO the first game was impressive (back then). But only kind of repetitive. So far, im not that impressed by the sequel. But the gameplay is supposedly drastically enhanced.

I guess its too early for that, i ll come back with a proper opinion, when i ll advance enough.

With the first look, the graphics dont seem improved too much. The gameplay seems completely similar.
Its more like playing an expansion, or mod, rather than a new game it self.

I'll definitely be getting this, loved the first game even if there was a bit too much travelling and repetitive fighting. The environments were beautiful and felt authentic.

Maybe because of my limited time, or just because i m getting too old, but im not really attracted by this game. I have advanced enough to see that it is more complex and not at all repetitive as the original, but it just cant hold me for a strange reason.
The missions are not repetitive as before, but it does seems more linear now.
New gameplay elements have been added, that give some extra depth to the game,
apart from your skills and equipment, you now are upgrading a mansion too.

Maybe its the game's engine that is starting to wear off, or just me, but when i got the first one in my hands, i ve finished in a couple of days, but now, i rarely get to finish a mission/2-3 days...

Def not a contender for the game of the year though...

 7.9? whatever this one is much better than the first one, it takes a while to get into the mix of things for those who have played the first since they re already familiar with the stuff they teach in the first part of the game. I doubt you got far into it cronios.

I picked up Assasins Creed 2 a couple of days ago, thanks to the Gamestop Buy 2 used games, get 1 free sale they have going on this holiday weekend. I must have walked in at the right time because I picked up AC2, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, and Batman:Arkham Asylum for 100 bucks
