My problem with rugby is that it's too sporting.

I was appalled at the Scotland v Wales game when a Welsh fan beside me stood up and applauded a Scottish try.

That fellow should have had an overwhelming desire to punch me in the face at that moment.

    I guess the violence on the pitch sates the desires of the average spectator.

    Whereas the play acting and preening tossers on the football pitch only exasabates it. Plus it is homoerotic which makes the male spectators feel the need to over exaggerate their masculinity to compensate their erection.
