I am thinking about getting a rat as a pet, but as I know they can chew through wood, concrete and metal, I am worried about it escaping.

Could anyone out their give me some advise?

Also I need a name. I thought about Moggi, but am not sure.
Suggestions?

I used to be a Carpenter (Caren actually) and splinters make me feel down, just like rainy days and Sundays.
