A tireless workhorse who never stops running and yet oozes class every time he touches the ball. Kwadwo Asamoah hasn't had the slightest problem making the switch from Udine to Turin and he's immediately become one of the mainstays of this Juve side. The Ghanaian turned in another top-class performance against Chievo but was keen to share the credit with his team-mates: "I owe it to them if I've settled in so well – it's easy to play with these guys. This is a team that runs, battles and never lets up. We're improving with each game. We've come on a lot since the Super Cup against Napoli."
Asa then reflected on the challenge posed by tonight's opposition: "Chievo are a tough side to break down. They defend very well and have some quality players. But we played a great game tonight, we carved out plenty of chances and got two thoroughly deserved goals."
Joining Kwadwo in the Juve line-up against Chievo was his former Udinese team-mate Mauricio Isla, making his Bianconeri debut: "He's just come back after injury so obviously he isn't at the top of his game yet. I know what he's capable of and I'm sure that the more he plays the better he'll get."
