Kwadwo Asamoah took the opportunity to praise the fans’ impact in this evening’s Summer Village interview.
The Ghanaian midfielder has immediately been made to feel at home since joining from Udinese, and believes the passionate Bianconeri support has played a big part in enabling him to settle in so quickly.
“I didn’t expect it to be like this - it’s incredible,” he admitted to DJ Nana and Valeria Ciardiello. “When I hear the fans shouting ‘Asa, Asa, Asa’ during training it’s important to me. It’s nice the fans have been so kind.”
The 23-year-old international also commented on his relationship with Antonio Conte and the opportunity to play alongside one of his heroes.
“I immediately got on with Antonio Conte and all of my team-mates. There’s a real family spirit here at Juventus. I’m excited about playing for the same team as Andrea Pirlo, who has always been my idol.”
