Official: Bayern sign Vidal
By Football Italia staff

Arturo Vidal describes his move to Bayern Munich as 'a dream come true’ as he officially joins from Juventus.

The deal has been known about for some time, with the Bavarian club’s President, Karl Heinz Rummenigge confirming the move last week.

The Chilean international has signed a contract which runs until 2019, and will wear the number 23 shirt for his new side.

“I’m very happy,” Vidal told Bayern’s official website.

“This is a new step in my career, and I hope I can do well here. I want to help the team and win trophies. It’s a dream come true for me.

“I wanted to make a big step in my career. I want to develop as a player, and win important trophies like the Champions League. I think I have the best chance of doing that at Bayern. (SNAP)

“Last season [with Juventus] we were not far from winning all three trophies [Coppa Italia, Serie A and Champions League], now that has to be the goal with Bayern.

“I’m very excited to play in the Bundesliga again [having previously represented Bayer Leverkusen], and I’m definitely hoping to win it.

“I didn’t manage that with Leverkusen, but with Bayern the chances are very, very good.”

Is it ok to assume now that he wasn't forced out?
We will never know I guess. What's he supposed to say in his first conference, "juventus forced me out, and that's why I'm here?"

he's just saying things any footballer would. But once again, we may never know the full story... I hope he flops hard at Bayern though.

It's a typical new club interview, what do you guys expect him to say? He is just saying these things to keep the Bayern fans happy.
