I'm not even talking about Marotta.

We saw a very rough season for Vidal after a knee injury. Name me one player that maintained his value when sold after his knee went kaput.

All I'm saying is, 35m isn't a bad piece of business. We can't sell him next year at 29 and 1 year left on his contract. And we certainly can't match the 6.5m Bayern is offering him.
those 6.5 is salary after taxes I believe so his gross salary will be 10million.

Rollie summed it up perfectly.

And Beppe said he wouldn't sell them. Why say those things if he can't follow through?

Because Beppe obviously didn't know what was going on, it seems like all of this was going on behind his back. Do you think that he would contact bunch of players in the last 2-3 hours after the Vidal negotiations? A planned action is not carried out like this. Something is wrong and I think Felicevich is the one behind this.

Did Beppe not consider that possibility before he went boasting that we wouldn't be selling our stars?
He said it while Vidal was in Chile. Maybe something changed after that. It wouldn't be impossible, would it? Maybe Vidal asked for a raise and we said no so he asked for the exit.

No one knows shit. There are plenty of possibilities.

No one knows $#@!. There are plenty of possibilities.
+ Vidal was stating his love for us in every single interview since January.

What I hate if he asked to leave is that while he was injured and came back from that injury we gave him our full support and when no club was interested in him during that period he was declaring his love for us in every interview while last summer he declined to comment on the Utd rumors until the last moment ....

How naive would be he not to consider those possibilities? And how can he make such statements knowing Juve don't have the finances to pay Vidal competitive wages?

Well, if the team was being unsettled by the endless rumors every single day about everyone being sold do you think its off base to sorta try and put a stop possible tension?

Again, I'm only trying to come up with possibilities. I have no idea what is going on. :D
