Exactly. You know something is wrong when Arturo starts missing penalties.
It's like his Grinta is 50% less than what it used to be.
with penalty tevez has been choking in that dept. Hopefully vidal confidence isn't too down, we may end up needing some magic not many on the team can provide before the season is over.

It's just a wild guess, but could it be that perhaps his injury had something to do with it? :boh:
same story about marchisio.his confidence isn't too down, we may end up needing some magic not many on the team can provide before the season is over.

He's been much better recently but was poor yesterday.

I think the main difference this year is that he isn't making as many runs into the box which is one of his main strengths.

Under Conte it was one of our main attacking sources for the midfielders to make those runs. Under Allegri its Tevez who makes the runs more by starting out deeper.

He's been great defensively at the games which really count recently.

But yes, he lost his offensive step.. doesn't do much runs and lost shooting - passing precision.

But he was great defensively and passing improved.

His technique always looked pretty calculated and deliberate, but now it seems that he is always on his heels when he plays. He makes a lot of passes leaning back, or stretching because he has not fully controlled the ball. That is a recipe for poor technique and pass accuracy. He shuffles around a bit more than he did before, but he has also played quite a lot of games for a recuperating player.

I still think he has psychological problems relating to his injury, those often last longer than the physical, but he has to get over it and have confidence in himself. Maybe get Bonucci's trainer to punch him in the stomach in his basement or something, because this guy is supposed to be El Guerrero, not El Geriátrico.

We owe him and will obviously give him another season as a starter to get himself back to his best, because his best is incredible, and the financial loss on him would be massive at this point.

No, I think he has actual physical problems. There's no sense of fluidity in his movements whatsoever. He looks like he's hurt.

We would have known for sure. IMO is more psychological and technical. Something is going on in his head that is making him bluff easy pasees and make tupid decitions

Maybe he hurt his brain?

It's because of his stupid haircut.

But seriously, his performances are making me sad considering he is one of my favourite players. He is OK defensively, although not up to his standard of last season. Offensively though, he has been poor this season. He used to be at the right place at the right time to score goals. He also misplaced some passes last season, but at least he was a weapon offensively. I hope next season he returns to his monstrous best.
