Anyway, I have a bad feeling about Vidal. I feel it's like a lose-lose situation for us.

Firstly, he just doesn't seem to be that willing to remain here anymore. His statements seem more and more cold and distant. You don't see the excitement, the drive, the fire he always had. He seemed to be a bit like that right after last season, but now that Conte is gone, he seems to be really distant.

Secondly, his health status. I have a bad feeling. He was clearly fucked up in the World Cup. I don't think he will go through another surgery right now. But he just doesn't seem to be the same now, lacking all that athleticism and moving. I think he won't have a great season this time, regardless of where he plays. His body seems to be pretty washed up and he needs to rest. And possibly a new surgery, since this one was completely fucked up by WC.

There are reports he is selling his house in Turim.

With Conte leaving and the feeling that this will be a transition year, without many ambitions in Europe - I'm inclined to think that he will want to leave.

And I'm pretty sure he'll go for 40/45M. No more than that.

I don't like it, but I think even if he stays, his body won't be the same this season, and mainly his mind won't be the same. He'll have some sort of discret season and leave for 35/40M next season.

So it's a lose-lose. I really feel the chances of him leaving now are increasing.

I disagree, Vidal is not a regular player and I think he will bounce back from his injury like nothing happened. He's already shown he's very strong mentally (that injured goal vs chelsea) among other things and it's not like he's done his ACL here, so there will probably not be any permanent limitations physically. If Vidal is sold then we will see the true intentions of our mgmt, unless Vidal totally says he did not want to stay at Juve anymore, but he did say he could stay at Juve for life just a week ago, so unlikely imo.

But when there's smoke, there's fire. I'm pretty sure his agent is working towards something, and then Vidal will make his mind if he's staying or not. I could understand him losing part of his drive, given Conte's departure and the possibility of some kind of transition year. Vidal is 27 and probably wants to win now. It's definitely different from Pogba who just turned 21 and can wait much more.

You see, when it comes to Tuttosport, I have some way of thinking to try to separate the lies from accurate reports.

We all know it's Juve's newspaper. They are always optimistic and aim to sell papers many times based on telling the juventinos what they want to hear.

So it's very common for them to hype pipe dreams as Sanchez (even though I'm sure a deal was actually agreed with his agent), Van Persie, Aguero, etc.

But when they link us to shitty Italian based players - like Candreva, Astori, Cerci, Guarin, etc - this is not done to try to sell papers. This is bad news, and even the Italian fans fully agree on it. So there's a higher chance of this being closer to the truth.

That's why not everything is made up, part of is based on real stuff, even though when they say that Juve "made an offer" for a player, it may mean simply that Marotta is interested and talked to the player's agent to see his interest in coming to Juve. Then his agent leaks the info. So it's an actual possibility, even though lower than reality shows.

And of course thre's a lot of bullshit agents "leak" to tuttosport to value his player, even though it's not close to the truth.

So, in this case, if Vidal leaves, I do believe Marotta would try to get Guarin.

Vidal is wanted all over the place. But almost all top clubs just won't make a bid now. This is also valid to Pogba.

Madrid would've been a likely destination, but now they're just crazy crowded and spent a shitload of money.
Atletico doesn't have the money/status to attract him.
FC Barcelona just spent all their money on Suarez and got Raktic.
Bayern would definitely have the money, but they are also stacked at midfield. And I doubt they'd go after a guy paying 45M for him after losing him for 12M.
PSG has the FFP problem and a bad relationship with Juve because of Coman and Rabiot. I doubt we'll do any business with them on short term.
Arsenal doesn't bid so high on 27 yr old players and just spent 40M on Sanchez.
Liverpool wouldn't have the money or the atraction needed.
Chelsea bought a lot of players and spent a shitload of money, among them Fabregas and Mourinho already said their mercato is done.
City is also stacked in the middle, having bought DM Fernando from Porto and Zuculini from Racing. Now they have Yaya, Fernandinho, Javi Garcia, Rodwell, Zuculini, also Milner to play as a CM.

The only feasible option would be Man Utd IMO. And it makes all the sense to go for Vidal, since they have tons o money available, are in rebuild mode, and midfield is probably their weakest position. They paid 35M for Herrera ffs. They only have Herrera plus a declining Carrick, overrated and overpaid bust Fellaini and often injured Cleverley to play as CM, plus scrubs like Anderson and Fletcher (who is waaaay long from being a useful player). Jones will be deployed as a CB, which is his natural position, and as they are really thin for CBs.

Vidal would fit as an absolute glove at United - EPL. And IMO it's the only real possibility of him going away. Now I feel this is not a done deal for sure, because he would probably hate Manchester, and this is relevant. Also the club is in a mess right now, and no European competitions.

Vidal should NOT be allowed to go for less than 65M. This is his real value at the market. If they fail to bid to 60M, keep him. Unless he pushes hard for an exit, what I doubt he'd do right now.

But I'm positive that United will push as hard as they can for him. IMO this rumours are based on truth. I don't think United has reached Juventus yet, but they are very likely to be in talks to his agent. First you get in the player's head, offers his agent a huge salary and makes him want to play for you, giving you leverage in the negotiation. That's what I think is happening. I'm sure that if United hasn't yet submitted a formal offer, they will soon. They are in the perfect timing to do it, as I don't think any other club will make a real offer and it won't turn into an auction.

I just hope Marotta stands strong at this. Vidal only leaves if he pushes for it, explicitly, and Juve can have at least 65M. This is equal around 50M pounds.

Considering they paid around 32M pounds for Herrera - around 40M euros - NO WAY Vidal may be allowed to go for less than 50M pounds.

I hope Vidal doesn't leave. He has showed that he likes it here and he feels comfortable in Juve. If we sign Pereyra and Shaqiri, we will have done a very good mercato, adding some talent and experience, boosting our bench and first team while also we keeping our great players. Even without Conte, who was loved by the players, our future looks bright. I hope Arturo sees it.

On the other hand, if Arturo wants to leave, let him go. In the last week I realized even more that Juve is over any individual.
