I still would be surprised if he went to Man United, lets be honest here they are a step down from Juve and they wont competing for the CL for a number of years.

If they were still on top i could understand him leaving but he wont win a CL medal there which is what is missing from his CV. It will take them a good 3 seasons to be competing for everything again by that time he will be 31 and time will be running out for him.

If he leaves i will miss him dearly he reminds me so much of Nedved he's a true warrior.

Chances are they'll qualify for the CL next season, then they'll use some of their never ending budget to strengthen again and will be on par with us or even more likely back in the select circle of elite clubs.

United are in a better position than we are to win the CL in the next few years short of us doing a Porto or buying a couple of star signings next Summer.

United are being written off as some disaster club after one bad season lol, when in reality they have as much pull (More if they bounce back straight away) and much more money than we do.

Sadly this is the truth-...we only have on them the CL right now---- but next year if they qualify, we will be no match to them in term of mercato.

Ed Woodward has told Manchester United fans to expect more signings this summer as new boss Louis van Gaal aims to bolster his squad ahead of the new season.

Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera have both already arrived at Old Trafford for a combined fee of €71 million, while Juventus star Arturo Vidal and Everton midfielder James McCarthy are also targets.

And Woodward - who drew criticism for United's pursuit of key transfer targets last summer - is confident he will have more new faces to present to the fans in the coming weeks.

"We’ve been working with Louis over several weeks with regards to targets and we’re continuing to move forward on some of those targets," Woodward told MUTV.

"We are still a huge attraction to top football stars around the world – there is no doubt about that. I hope [fans] will see the direction we’re heading in with the new manager, coaching staff and players, and a commitment to do what it takes to get back to the top.

"We are willing to invest. There is no fixed budget. Financially we are extremely strong and funds are available. Louis is assessing what’s going on and there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes, so watch this space."

When asked if players would be leaving Old Trafford to make way for new arrivals, Woodward added: "Yes, I think so. The manager makes that decision. A few players have already gone and there may well be a few others.

"It’s also worth commenting that we’re not in Europe this year, so there are fewer games and Louis may take the view that he wants a tighter squad to bed in.

We dont play infront of small crowds. Playing for Juventus means you play for sold out crowds pretty much every week, or very close to it atleast.

Anyway, I have a bad feeling about Vidal. I feel it's like a lose-lose situation for us.

Firstly, he just doesn't seem to be that willing to remain here anymore. His statements seem more and more cold and distant. You don't see the excitement, the drive, the fire he always had. He seemed to be a bit like that right after last season, but now that Conte is gone, he seems to be really distant.

Secondly, his health status. I have a bad feeling. He was clearly fucked up in the World Cup. I don't think he will go through another surgery right now. But he just doesn't seem to be the same now, lacking all that athleticism and moving. I think he won't have a great season this time, regardless of where he plays. His body seems to be pretty washed up and he needs to rest. And possibly a new surgery, since this one was completely fucked up by WC.

There are reports he is selling his house in Turim.

With Conte leaving and the feeling that this will be a transition year, without many ambitions in Europe - I'm inclined to think that he will want to leave.

And I'm pretty sure he'll go for 40/45M. No more than that.

I don't like it, but I think even if he stays, his body won't be the same this season, and mainly his mind won't be the same. He'll have some sort of discret season and leave for 35/40M next season.

So it's a lose-lose. I really feel the chances of him leaving now are increasing.

If we exclude Cagliari for obvious reasons, most of our other away games had good attendance. Even vs lesser teams we attract around 20k, which is close to capacity of their stadium. I've often read that tickets are mostly sold out for our away games. The major disappointment this season was Parma.
