His club refused to sell him to munich. Don't know if you on that marcelo tip but Vidal wasn't exactly the one who asked for us coulda easily been any other club Conte was on that Inler tip.
it's rare thse days a club being able to prevent the sale of a player.
clubs dont operate that way. when there is money involved. see the sales of ibra to inter, figo to madrid, baggio to juventus, van persie to man u...etc...
only racist clubs like bilbao have more power than the players because they dont care about money. in almost all cases the power is with player.
oh and if vidal wanted money he would have forced a move to chelsea last summer when they were interested
How does this "1st option" exactly works?
If two clubs offer the same amount, we only accept the offer of the club with the 1st option? Or is it just a simple discount?
1st option means say a club like chelsea and bayern make an offer for vidal and we accept. example say 40 million, just a random number. 1st option means madrid get to make the same offer and juve would have to accept. another thing it does is eliminate secret negotiations. ex: if say juve had a first option on gotze, dortumund would have had to inform juve of bayern offer, and accept the same offer if made by juve. then it would be up to juve if they wanted to bid or not
it's more useful for teams within own leagues because they get dibs on talents, but it can be useful to teams competing for cl trophies
