I am not joking - what you said is true in Italy and at the group-stage level of the CL - this is where Vidal can stick out of the overall mass of players ... beyond that, he is mostly about his potential, not final productivity.
No offense, I think you might be biased. He's one of the few who has had great games against Chelsea AND Bayern. Plus how can he be inconsistent in those type of games if it's our first year back in CL?

acmilan, still buthurt after that faboulous freekick. IT hurt didn't it.

And Vidal is a level or two above any player in Milan. If he is not world class, what's your team then. Simply pathetic.

Yep. In fact, he wasn't only good against Bayern away, he was really good. He was the only one in our team who stood up to the occasion. The rest of our team just couldn't play to the level that occasion demanded, but he could.

I truly believe Vidal would be a leader even in Bayern. He would be one of the top 3 players there easily. He brings so much and to listen to some dirty milanista say he isn't WC is laughable.

Vidal is not Messi, he won't win games with goals. He is one of the worlds best at what he does though. He is a WC b2b midfielder and any team would love to include him in their starting eleven.

biased I am not, even if you probably don't realize I can say the same about just about everyone here ;)
I am not saying he is a poor player or he can't become WC, just that he needs to get better and become a difference maker at the next level in order to be undoubtedly WC.

He was great vs Chelsea but Chelsea should not be used as a benchmark for their winning the CL last year - this year that team has gone thru a tumultous season of coaching changes, improper transfer policy, etc, etc. At the time you beat them in the groups, they were losing games vs average teams in the EPL.
People made the mistake to expect a lot from Juve namely due to that game vs Chelsea and an actually proper team came a long, you guys looked out of your league (an no, Vidal was little more than good vs Bayern - he just didn't suck like the rest of your midfield).

He's been inconsistent in general, not just CL games at high level - but that is kind of my point - he hasn't proven himself at the big stage enough in order to be considered WC yet ... maybe one day he would be WC but as of right now, you guys are getting ahead of yourselves with the labeling (not the first time, tbh ;))
