(Same post in Marchisio thread)
Not trying to start the whole war over again, but our midfield trio has played almost every single game this season...it's time to start rotating.

Pirlo went through a dip in form, now Marchisio & Vidal both are...let's give Marrone some playing time (seriously) and give these guys a breather for a game for 2.

Don't think Marrone would have done any worse than Vidal or Marchisio today...would have been a good game for him to come in today. Start rotating the mids FFS Conte.

Agreed. We still should have gotten a better CM than Padoin though. Marrone isn't enough.

Agree with part 1.
Agree with part 2.

Padoin just isn't good enough, Radja would have been perfect but too expensive. Pizaarro would have been clutch.

When he makes passes that he shouldn't try to make.
Udinese, yeah. I can't remember more.

Disagreed. The decisions are good ones, as most of the passes he fucked up today were either logical choices or good ideas in theory. The problem was the execution almost exclusively this match.
Still, it's not his job to make such decisive passes. We have other midfielder(S) for that.

Actually, he's a very good passer.
If by that you mean he makes defense splitting passes once in a while, I agree. It's the simple ones he messes up, and he does that consistently. It's not something he has done today, or in the previous match, it's been the same story almost all season. It gets called out only when he messes up big time, but even otherwise a good percentage of the tackles he makes to get the ball back is when he loses the ball himself.

It's not his job, no, but he's actually got quite a knack for the brilliant pass. He's exhibited this a lot this season.

Today I didn't see any ostentatious attempts. He was fucking up simple and direct passing. Separate problems, I think.

we should give marrone an opportunity to make vidal/marchisio run for their money. I don't blame him, maybe he's tired or being overworked.
