When we say midfield, we mean all of our midfielders. You can't honestly tell me you're happy with Pazienza even as backup, Marrone isn't ready. We really lack depth & quality & that's the simple truth.

I am more than happy with Pazienza as backup. Who do you want as backup? He is surely miles ahead of what Sissoko became, he is on low wages and was a starter at Napoli's top three finish squad last year.

Marchisio has potential, if we ever get the likes of Hernanes to join us, he would have a tough time competing for a starting berth. As for it being unrealistic, i'm sorry but they are no world beaters, well besides Pirlo for obvious reasons.

What is your definition of great? It seems words are used very loosely in this forum.
