Let's be honest 18 Million for a Striker these days is not bad. When Torres went for 50 Million, Carrol 35 Million and then Falcao for 40 Million.

That's what i want to say , other clubs are overpaying a lot for players like u saied Torres,Carrol,Falcao,Dzeko,Aguero etc . . .

And i don't think Matri isn't good , he is really really good player i rate him alot for me he is about in the same level with Falcao,Dzeko and better than Carrol .

Have you seen his goals? The guy oozes quality & technique. The guy can score ANYWHERE around and inside the box with either leg...he doesn't need to dribble.

Matri just had one good season while Dzeko had three, and the latter has always been doing good for his country (as of late, not as much though). Also, using the league excuse when it comes to judging players can be misleading. Dzeko is clearly quality and I'm sure he'll also proves himself in the EPL.

I agree. I really like his instinct, his positioning, and obviously, his deadly finish. He will get back to being great.

I also agree on the point you raised about Ibra: I don't think he's a similar player.
