Vidal: 'I miss Juventus’
By Football Italia staff

Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal admits “I miss Juventus”, but will still “give everything” to eliminate them from the Champions League.

The Chilean international left the Bianconeri this summer to move to the German champions, and will face his old teammates in Turin on Tuesday.

“It will be a strange game, because I had four fantastic years in Turin,” Vidal told Tk.
“Now I’m representing the shirt and the colours of Bayern, and I’ll give everything because my team can win two games and reach the Quarter-Finals.

“I admit, I miss Juve. I had four intense years where the fans developed a certain affection for me, and I felt the same about the fans.

“I also miss the sensational companions I experienced those years with. I still speak with a lot of them.
“Recently I heard from [Martin] Caceres and [Gigi] Buffon, but I still have a good relationship with all of them and I’ll be glad to see them again.”

I hope our fans don't boo him he should be welcomed with applause for what he did here. It makes fans look stupid and insecure when they boo a player that has left. He did wonderful things with us and we should all appreciate and cherish those things.

Why would it be back pedaling? Stating the obvious, clearly you get attached enough after spending 4 wonderful and formative years somewhere, appreciated by fans and compadres.

I was referring to some idiotic comments he made when comparing bayern and juve at the beggining of the season. Obviously we got attached to him, so he should had more tact when saying things instead of things like "juve was fine but in bayern im at home".

IM not butthurt or anything. i dont care tbh, but is curious of him to say that. I can even accept him saying that bayern is better than juve sportwise, but more at home than in juve? he was idolized here.
