I know that you will point out that he is young .So.He had only one good season behind him, good but unproved player .Vidal is one of the best players on his position in the world.Although I agree with you that PL teams pay ridicoulus amount for transfers.I don't think that Martinez is better than Vidal although they don't play at the same position.Bayern payed his buyout clause worth 45 mil.
Martinez was 21 years. He was hyped almost as much as Pogba.

Overall 40 ml for Vidal at the moment is OK-ish. It would be better if there was a bidding war, but there isn't. We still haven't sold him and no other club wants to interfere with a better bid. The market says that he is worth 40 ml and TBH the club also wants to sell, so... Let it go. :sigh:

Vidal was great for us. I'm thankful for the service. Let's see if we can find another player with so big heart... on the field.

Especially if you don't even try to get some more money.
there is no evidence for you if marotta do not try to get some more money.

and of course, 40 million now is better than 50 million in end of august.

From when is having an own opinion criticizing? You said that Bayern are tough side to negotiate? So then we should even give him for a less because they are so tough negotiators.First you will admit that usually directors of a buying club in this case Bayern go to us(Turin) if they want the deal. Here Beppe went to Munich.Strange for me if it is for Vidal only.I am convinced that we could get more from this transfer. That all.
he went to Munich to try to get Gotze in return, i thought this is obvious by now. he confirmed today in the interview that we asked about Gotze. but do you think its better to sell Vidal earlier and then have more time to look for a new player than to drag the negotiations for weeks and have less options on the market to work on?

And how you know what I don't know that Marotta try to get some more money for us?With going instantly to Munich ?
And 40 millions now are not better than 50 in August if we don't use them wisely.

From the midfield, most will remember pirlo and maybe marchisio in italy.
Not vidal

Nobody remembers such players, only the flair and fancy
:agree: he was the image of the club worldwide in the past 4 years. people were associating Juventus with him, clearly the one from this generation to be remembered, along with Gigi. lets see if Pogba, Marchisio, Morata and others from the current ones can get to that status one day

I think that the best option is to sell as early as you can with a another player coming reserved .Here ,the only thing which is confirmed is that we sold Vidal.

Boy, you do really think Vidal set this off
do you think he wont? what makes you so sure, if you dont grant his wish to play for Bayern and instead try to sell him to PSG without his OK? do you think he will return happy to the training camp like nothing happened?

he wanted Bayern, there is no other team we could have sold him if the player himself wanted Bayern. we get 40M from them AND the possibility to negotiate with Gotze. if the Gotze deal goes through, fantastic deal. if not, average, but also not terrible

yes, so lets wait and see if we can get Gotze 1st and then rate this transfer. if we fail to get Gotze and get Draxler/whoever else we are interested in, then this is not a good deal, but also not terrible since Vidal was the one to ask for a transfer, not us pushing him out

Juventus isnt a selling team we dont transfer players if they dont asked to to be sold. It happened with Pirlo, Tevez and even Vidal confirmed his want to experience something different. Also his contract with wouldve been up in 2015, whereas with Bayern he seems to have closed with an agreement of 5 years.

Pirlo isnt a Juve legend but a legend overall, same with Zidane really. I don't really care what part of the forum they go in. Just my opinion.

I think legend status be granted too easily. Only Buffon, Del Piero, Trez and Nedved from the post Calciopoli years imo
Exactly, if the mods want to be fair and exact this should be the way to do it. Including Camo as well.

Vidal is a legend, he CHOSE to come to Juve when we were finishing 7th in the league. He could have gone to Bayern if he wanted to and he took a big risk coming to Juve where success had not come for a long time.

He gave more than any other Juve player in the 4 years since he was here, he's a Juve legend in my books and in 20 years time when people look back on this cycle of success his name will be the most remembered.
True. Vidal did more for Juve than Pirlo did , and yet we are talking about Pirlo being a legend because of Italy. I love Italian NT more than Juventus but things should be straight. We are talking about Juventus legends here.

He also asked to leave.

“[Angelo] Ogbonna asked for opportunity and consistency in playing time, and as for Vidal I asked him before I went to meet the Bayern Munich leadership.

“He confirmed he wanted a different experience. I’d also emphasise that the player had a contract ending in 2017, while they’re offering him a five-year contract, and that’s very important for his future.

If the club never intended to cash on him, there was no need to ask him. Marotta could say no to Bayern and opt to give Vidal a new contract but even he knows its wise to cash in now, and Allegri approves as he wants are more attacking player with the lost of Pirlo. Its all about having a great team with the balance to our economics and that's what happened here.

And just a reminder for those who forgot.....

"If I had to go to war," Conte said, "I'd take Arturo." He does both phases of play and is a complete midfielder with few peers in his position in the game.

Couldn't agree more with your post.
