Rummenigge: Vidal to Bayern not a done deal...yet

"I can’t confirm Vidal’s signing – yet," the 59-year-old told Sky Germany. "We have to wait a bit.

"Michael Reschke [Bayern’s technical director, who worked for Leverkusen until 2014] told me the truth about 2011: it was not the player but the club who blocked his move to Bayern.

"So, in the end, I hope Vidal will come to us. It is impossible that Vidal will join Bayern on our tour of China. Even the Bavarians can't sign a player that fast."

Mandzucic makes alot more sense if vidal is sold. The pressure from the am position vidal provided, mandzucic can replicate 90%.

Morata/dybala -mandzucic/zaza

WC Am

Pogba. Kehdira

Marchisio

With the loss of pirlo and tevez, the need for creativity is too great to ignore. We have enough grinta in this team to get a pure offensive/creative am. Considering all things this team and players have achived in recent years, a mini clearout is imo needed and wanted. Some players are bound to be less hungry and need new motivation. The drunk driving was too fucking stupied and not worthy of juve. If thats the reason for the sale, thats cool in my book. Juve should demand and have players with high integrety and moral. That will pay of in the long run.

Be sorry to see Vidal go but he is coming off the back of his poorest season. Doubt he would have asked to leave but I hope the numbers floated around are wrong. We should be getting a minimum of 50m for him

Can we choose to move the thread once we know more about how and why this deal went through? Was it Vidal? Was it the club not happy with his behaviour? Was it mutual? If he was asked to find a new team for example, we could make a case for him going to the legend section, given how instrumental he was in relaunching Juve to the heights we've achieved in his tenure with us. One of the single most determining factors to our success.

Maybe we need a new section for "Juventus champions"

I agree pirlo and Vidal aren't legends for Juve so a new section for the players that bridge the gap may solve all the debate!

I don't like it but it's a reality of the business. Having said that I have utmost respect and admiration for our management and I think they're doing this for a good reason
i hope so, i trust them too but lost some hope tbh. adding better players with the starters is the best dynamic for a winning team..lets see how it goes

It's all tricks and mind games to get a higher offer.

Oh wait.
exactly :\

I just remembered Rumenigge's words after we got Arturo and they did not. He was saying that Bayern dont need players like him and he choose a cheater club and he's the one too. :shifty:
