I`m confused... Why should we sell Vidal for only 30M? He is definitely worth more than that...
As for our mid are we going to play Pogba Marchisio Khedira with no normal backup? doesnt make any sense...
And about Benatia - Lets say we do get him who are we going to bench..? or are we selling Bonucci..?
If we still have Pirlo it could make little sense but as we lost Tevez and now Pirlo is also on his way out - It doesnt sound resonable to sell Vidal

Selling Bonucci and Vidal for 70M while getting Benatia for 20M leaves us with 50M which will be needed for a CM and we still need another CM or AM depends on the formation...

To think I used to respect Football Italia, recently it's been just as unreliable as Goal.com

http://football-italia.net/68356/juve-send-vidal-arsenal-benatia
Football Italia does not make up these stories, so it is up to the reader to decide on whether the source that Football Italia has taken the news from is reliable or not.

For this reason the site has never been reliable or unreliable.

Sometimes they relay stupider stories than at other times, but that's about it.

Pogba is going to be sold this season or next, so if we let Vidal go this season, that's pretty much the end of PVP as we know it. Pogba, Pirlo Vidal.

Fino alla finished.

Obviously we are not gonna sell either of the two. It would be a step back for us and I have gotten the impression mgt is looking to make us even more competitive. Media are gonna work all summer, but those stories if not fabricated are coming from unreliable sources. How many times in the past have we sold Vidal or Pogs? It seems to me every summer since we returned to spotlight the same stories resurface and get recycled each summer. People shouldnt consider these in the slightest.

That's debatable. In many ways, we can conclude that a bunch of players' time at the has come to an end with this winning cycle of the club, which culminated with an almost flawless season. Normally, to build a new sustainable cycle, it's imperative to replace certain players, but to that qualitatively, it invariably means making a big sale to accommodate and procure new talent. Neither Pogba or Vidal need to be sold, but if a quality AM is the need of the hour, then I can see Pogba (who although an amazing player) is being used in a position that's not affecting us as much as an AM would, then that's a sale the club would think about. Apart from of course, the shenanigans of the players agent and his greedy little games with other clubs to push for a sale. If it came down to selling one of the two, I'd sell Pogba. He's gone next season anyway and isn't part of the club's future plans because we will not pay the salary he will earn in Spain.

I totally understand concerns related to Vidal's mooted price tag in light of his age and recent injury record
I find it hard to believe that we are really in the market for Vidal. Bit too old, too many injuries, not proven in the Premier League and too expensive? Surely Schneiderlin would have been a safer bet
I would be surprised if Wenger spent big money on a 28 year old with a history of knee issues.
Premiership experience is important in the sense that you know a player can hack it in the league. There are plenty of examples of players that were highly rated, but failed in the Premier League. In this sense Schneiderlin is a known factor, while Vidal is completely unproven.
If you see him as a box to box, do you seriously think Wenger would spend £20+m on him?
Vidal is a tenacious player who will bring some steel against teams like Stoke and Chelsea. If 20M is the price then it is a no brainer.
Cech for 11m and Vidal for somewhere around 25m brings us to a 36m total.
Vidal is a dm.
Arteta could be a box to box player in Italy at this age, cause of their slow tempo league. But not here.

"while Vidal is completely unproven"

Amazing how they can count out a player as good as him, who just played in the CL final and would start in any team, because he hasnt played in their glorious league yet
