He's just not suited to play the AM role. We're too slow and narrow with him there, he should play as b2b. Simply because playing all of Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal and Marchisio is just an overkill. Other than that we have Pereyra who is better suited to the AM role and also he was in good form lately.

you don't need speed to be trequartista, you need great vision and the passing ability while Vidal simply can't give even 1 simple through ball, he has made 0 in 13 games so far

The Toro goal really showed what a lack of pace he has. Pereyra is way faster.
LOL, he stopped and decided to run in the different way, that was the problem, not his speed, Peres was already dead and exhausted

“When I reached midfield, I already felt exhausted, as it was raining hard and the pitch was heavy,” Peres told Sky Sport Italia.

He shoukd play not behind the strikers but in the middle. He is becoming an old Arturo but I just don't understand why he stop chasing Peres. He can foul him if he is slower.I don't understand.

He ran back towards the box because he was heavily outpaced. He's never been a fast player. He and Marcisio have always been of average pace.

There was no way he was going to catch him even for a foul which is why he changed direction and ran back towards the centre of the goal hoping to cut off any angle peres had.

No, he didn't, he thought that Chiellini will come infront and will face Peres and he have to cover Chiellini's ass, while Chiellini decided to stay and wait because he saw that Evra and Vidal were both after Peres, and also Evra slowed his run because of Vidal, you can see it on this replay

PS: he just doesn't have the technical ability to be an AM. We're all happy with the Allegri formation change, but this part of the change is dead wrong. Why does every coach have such a glaring flaw that only the fans can see? Boateng all over again.

no, in situation like this Chiellini should not stay in the box but attack the opponent

Agree, but that doesn't change the fact that Vidal was outpaced.

Evra left it to Vidal, Vidal left it to Chiellini, Chiellini left it to Vidal and Evra - meanwhile Peres scores. No one took it upon themselves - tiredness, laziness and overconfidence.

If mistakes never happened in football we'd never see a ball go in.

Yeah I agree but there were two Toro players near Chiello and only one from us.Anyway it would be wiser Chiello to start on him.

In team like Juventus it shouldn't happen, but since Evra is not suited well we will see it whenever he is on the field

nope, he is not looking on Quagliarella, Quag is absolutely alone, he only knew in that moment that Bonehead is after Amauri

#PereyraStarter will be the new trend until Vidal won't be able to score an hattrick with his left toenail and cook bacon in the pitch in the meantime, and Allegri will be at fault for playing him... Until Pereyra won't have a match as a starter where he won't stand out, then those would be millions bad spent on him and all the blame will be on Marotta. And on Allegri for not having played Vidal, or whoever was in the bench.

looking at those images it actually made sense for Chiellini to stay. Bonbon would've otherwise had 2 men to contend with.
