@Fr3sh Cleaning toilets is pretty lucrative in Parts of Canada isn't it? Stop being condescending Zach. Not everyone could afford a decent education like your enlightened self. Moreover, a well paying job or a high ranking position is no guarantee of intelligence. I know a few rich people in high places and they don't strike me as being particularly bright.
My education is costing me about 670 euro entry fee/year and 200 on course material.
Oh, and i get about 1300 euro in scolarship.

Education is not expensive in a civilised country.
An industrial engineer with a well paid job that climbed up to a higher ranking in a company, cannot do this if he isnt intelligent. Well, as a male at least.

i'm getting sick of this appologist crap. Everyone can attempt a scientific bachelor, a bachelor of science, or a master of science degree. If you chose to have a shitty diploma in rough economic times, its your fault

Last time i checked there isnt a single country in the world that isnt looking for Industrial engineers.

Hence, Canada for example has a special program in witch they try to attract foreign industrial engineers to come work and live there.

I like cars B81. Or microbiology. But i took the degree that is competitve. And then i discovered i actually like wastewater engineering quite alot.

Manchester United and the curious case of the transfer of Arturo Vidal

http://www.theguardian.com/football...dal-manchester-united-louis-van-gaal-juventus
What Van Gaal actually wants is one of Schweinsteiger, Martinez, Mascherano.

Commanding central midfielder with incredible organisatorial talent, and beyond world class defensive skills and duelpower.

Sadly for him, none of those are remotely interested in joining United, and the one that might, is injured.

My education was free. Scholarships. Well, at least until I decided I had no desire to be an engineer (aerospace/mechanical). After this I floated around in liberal arts (literature, art history, film studies, etc) for a couple years, again on scholarships.

Now I run the timberframe part of a small business that builds timberframe homes, generally trending towards mostly building net-zero homes, alt. energy, green roofs, rainwater collection, super-insulation/passive house, and so on.

Degrees are great for certain things, but there are still quite a few jobs out there, where a degree is entirely irrelevant.

Is it really too late? :shifty: I mean I can't imagine him robbing himself of CL this season.
My thoughts too. Why would he go to ManU in a year where they don't have CL football to offer him. If they did, perhaps this transfer may have gone through, but without it, I just can't see Vidal leaving.

I agree. There are plenty of ways to get a job out there.
Tbh the sector you are in, has quite some growth into it. Did you hear in france, companies who produce water are trying to push a law wich makes you pay for the amount of water that falls onto your property each year ?

Can we move this thread back to see some Man Utd fans clutching at straws before the mercato ends? It's not like anything more interesting is going to happen in our mercato.
